Played football the other night and got a bit of a knock on my demon left foot (big toe to be precise). Hurt a bit for last couple of days but no big deal like. Woke up this morning and it's as black as fuck and hurts like a bastard. Can't put any pressure on the front of my foot as a result so walking like I've shit mesen.

Any advice? Hurts like fuck and don't want the cunt to drop off or owt Posted Image (the nail that is, I realise my toe will probably be ok)

I did something called the "belvoir challenge" Well, 17 miles later had 2 big toenails go totally black. Basically, blood blisters. Still got em 2 months later. You can get them lanced at your GP's which is what i should have done. The tenderness will wear off pretty quick though

My big toenail went Purple after playing football..it didn't hurt and fell off after a few months. And then the next year it did the same but for no reason..

I think the nail will fall off eventually, then you can scrape all the black off and put it on your toast or coffee.

The nail will fall or or you can pull it off. You can lance the blood blister yourself but the nail will probably still fall off.

Heat a needle up while you put and ice cube on your nail, when its glowing red press it against your nail it will relieve the pressure and the pain will go i did it to my thumb the other week fucking stinks but the blood sputrs impressive

I did that, but went for the 26 mile option - I have never felt so miserable on a run in my life !

Am definately doing it again next year - it's worth it just for the tea and cake

Yeah, its the only run that you get fatter as you go round  Conditions were bloody awful. Mud 80% of the way round. Toe-nail update - one of the fuckers is gonna come off, feels quite loose

Whats this then? Is it tough? Massively disappointed with my lack of black toenails after the ultra this year.
