I must admit to hating them with a passion. When I was younger I went to watch them once as a neutral with my Dad and always followed their results with them being a 'local' side but that all changed about 4 years ago. Me and my mate made the mistake of parking at the wrong end of the ground, and we were walking past their 'end' (wearing my scarf) when some dickhead spat on the floor in front of me and called me a 'shit scum bastard'. Now I'm not a violent man, but it's the nearest I've ever come to football violence in my life. I would have loved him to have said it to me one on one but I'm not fucking stupid either so I just had to let it go. I still fill with rage, even now thinking about that fucker.
Having said that, there is a part of me that wants them to get promoted just so we can play them again, as there is a cracking, spiteful atmousphere at their place. Believe me, having worked with a 'Town' fan for ten years they do hate us (the Yids as they call us) with a passion.
