The bad news is that you are being fleeced insurance wise. Let N know when you are up for renewal.

Mine is up for renewal in March. What can N do for me? :heh:

Glad you're sorted Luca. Bunch of wankers are insurers.

She on your insurance?

Disgusting that it's cheaper for females, although I believe change in the law means they have to quote same regardless of gender from Dec?

I was 20 and got a 1 litre corsa which cost me £1800 for first year fully comp!
Now just over £1k with one year No claims!

They shouldn't be able to discriminate against young people. Don't understand how they are allowed to....

I don't understand how they get away with it. Imagine the outrage if they charged blacks more than whites.

It's not discriminating though is it? Insurers are simply charging a price consistent with the risk involved. Admittedly some insurers take the piss, but no one moans that people who live in rough areas are discriminated against for dearer home insurance.

Cunts with no insurance and scamming fuckers are the real villains in driving premiums up imo

Admiral decent (quotes) for multi car policies.

Yes, they are cunts no doubt.

I think charging a young person a higher premium because other young people have been bad drivers is unfair.

Should base it on experience then. A 17 yo who has just passed should pose the same risk as a 27 yo who just passed.

That would be a bit fairer.

Personally speaking I went 5 years from passing with not so much as a scraped wheel trim, then wrote my car off. I'm probably a worse driver now than I was when I passed. Too relaxed and complacent.

On the other hand some of these little scrotums in their Vauxhall Nova's tear-arsing out of McDonald's carparks and that drive with one hand down their pants and the other on the wheel are an accident waiting to happen, but I feel it unfair to tar everyone of that age group the same and they wouldn't be allowed to do it to many other sections of society.

My mum is 60-odd and been driving for a long time, but if she went on a motorway she would cause a pile up. I think her insurance is about £300-400 just cos she's older.

And after a few years of driving the gender should have no effect on the premium.

This statement is spot on for me. Age or sex should mean nothing.
